:Honestly, if someone hacked into my secured WiFi, as long as they weren't doing it to do anything illegal (and I'm thinking more "steal my identity" illegal than "download some movies off BitTorrent" illegal), I don't see any reason for them to go to jail- it just fills the jails with more nonviolent offenders, which is exactly what we don't need...
how do you KNOW they aren't doing anything illegal though. also if this person starts downloading kiddie pr0n it's YOUR IP that shows up and YOU are going to be the one arrested. Sorry but if someone is going through the effort of hacking into MY secure connection( which means I don't want anybody else using it ) then I am going to assume they are up to no good. No one "accidently" gets into a secure connection. Would you be cool if I broke into your house while you were at work just to watch TV because I can't afford cable? I mean if I'm not stealing anything what's the harm?
