try this,
select "custom routing"
type something (say "aaa") in the "name" edit box, minimize your browser, maximize it
the text that you just typed ("aaa" in my case) automagically disappeared

note that there are other places in the new VT that exhibit this behaviour

oops,
I forgot to mention that this behaviour prevented me from doing cut & paste (into edit boxes)
