Ring o2 and tell them that you are moving in to the new property in a few weeks. Say that you have a phone with them and have seen their 100 day money back guarantee offer on their site. However this is set to end at the end of March but as a goodwill gesture could they extend it for you? See here:

The problem with that is once the person in the house at present moves out Sky Broadband will be removed from the line. It has to be as the contract for broadband is with the house owner and not the house.
This means that the line "should" be free of any broadband service giving you the option to select who you want.

Just to add. Sky HD is a real eyeopener. There may not be many channels yet but more are being added all the time "there were two new ones added last week"

I rang Sky direct at the time and they quoted me over £200! even though I had been a Sky customer "on the full package" for seven years. Its crazy how Comet could offer a much cheaper price that Sky themselves.

8MB broadband (with 40G limit, no problem for me), 4 packs of (admittedly mostly crap) TV channels and free weekend/eve UK calls for £24 a month.
Or 8MB O2 for £7.50 / 16MB for £15 per month.
If the Sky broadband service is OK (which I gather it is) then I am tempted to go Sky ...
OTOH, if it's really just the HD aspect I'm interested in, how much would O2 broadband plus Sky HD service cost me ?
But the free calls from Sky asre also tempting ...
