GPS specific forums

I know we all love DSLR, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good forum that is strictly dedicated to gps devices. Something along the lines of a dbstalk (which is specifically for satellite TV). I have searched and what I have found was lacking.

»gpsmagazine.com/ this site has top notch reviews of a whole lot of gps units, and has a forum as well.

You might also try www.poifactory.com. They have discussion forums as well as points-of-interest downloads.

»forums.groundspeak.com/gc/ is oriented around geocaching but if there ever was a group of more ardent GPS users I wouldn't know where to find them! There are some of the most knowledgeable people for GPS technical issues I've ever "met."

What type of GPS - handheld, bluetooth pucks for use with PCs or PDAs, auto nav, etc?

I'm not aware of some general GPS forum that has any activity. As a geocacher, the gc.com forums another posted are really useful and I'm sure some have auto units too, but most geocachers are reliant on handheld GPS units that also work as an auto unit such as the Garmin 60CSX or 76CSX units.

So maybe just a bit more info would be helpful. There's some sites that have a good amount of info such as »gpsinformation.net and »www.navigadget.com/ to name just 2.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I will have to check out those sites.

Costco had the Magellan Maestro 4250 on sale with a coupon for $249 last week and I picked one up. I am curious if there are any mods/hacks for it.
