Securty Device(s) may of effected User Profile startup

OS = WinXP Pro SP2 (Fully Updated).

My apologies if this is the wrong place to post this; it was a toss up between 'Microsoft help' and this place. I chose this place, as I believe the following issue has to do with 'Spybot: S&D'. I'm posting the following only as "a possible heads up".

I have just experience (for the first time) my 'Limited User Account' not being able to startup. (FYI- When a user account is unable to startup, Windows creates and starts up a temp user profile for the said account.)

The following is what I did before this problem occurred:

I.Startup PC; logged into 'Limit User Account'.
a.Found Firefox had a new update (2.0.0.13).
b.Logged off 'Limited User Account'.

II.Logged into 'Administrator User Account'.
a.Installed new Firefox update via Firefox's internal updater.
b.Updated the following security apps- SpywareBlaster (4.0), 'Spybot: S&D' (1.5.2.20), & ZoneAlarm(7.0.462.000)'s AntiSpyware definitions.
(Noticed 'Spybot: S&D' had to install new files via a CMD window; I'm assuming it were those new Anti-Rootkit files that were the reason for the CMD Box.)
Had to start back up 'Spybot: S&D', as it didn't restart on its own (as in prior versions, where it did).
Did a Immunized via 'Spybot: S&D'.
c.Logged out of 'Administrator User Account'.

III.Tried to logged back into 'Limited User Account'. Wasn't able to, due to something along the lines of not having security rights to an opened process.

I tried a few more log offs, and logins with the said 'Limited User Account'. I didn't mess with the temp profile, windows kept creating, upon each login; I simply logged back off (ASAP).
A windows reboot fixed the problem.

My hypothesis on this:
Due to 'Spybot: S&D' not restarting itself like it should of (like it did in previous versions); it is my belief, Spybot had a process still up, and somehow caused this issue.

Note: I do not have 'Fast User Switching' enabled.

Edit: Could a MOD fix the spelling error of "Securty", to Security; from the thread's title... and then delete this post.

Thanks.

Have you tried powering down the PC completely and restarting? Oops - guess you already did and that took care of the problem
