Bell Throtlling and Nexicom

We are definately looking into it and having active discussions with various people at Bell currently. It's very unfortunate that Bell took this stance and even worse that nobody was provided notice...

Not all our DSL comes via Bell Canada - can you send me a PM offline with your phone number and I can look it up? With your phone number I can verify if your DSL is being served via Bell equipment or Nexicom directly.

Can you tell me if the wireless service is connected to Bell in any way... I left them for Nexicom and had hoped to not have to deal with them again.

Our wireless service is not related to Bell at all - never touches their network at any point....;)

Just wanted to drop another line on this topic - wanted to be clear that Nexicom itself has never and does not throttle at all. We've heard from a few customers who were confusing the fact that perhaps *we* were throttling and the answer is definately no.

We have no caps, no throttling, unlimited free premium newsgroups etc. etc....;)

So does this mean there's a chance If your in Peterborough and have Nexicom it won't be throttled? As I was considering getting Nexicom. As I like your combo DSL & Phone package, plus I like the fact that you are a local company

That is absolutely correct if you are served via the main CO in Peterborough - hit me offline with your phone number and I can tell you what kind of speeds/service you should be expecting...;)
