Problem receiving calls with Acanac voip

Recently, I started to have problem receiving calls with my Edmonton Acanac voip phone number. Sometimes, the call to this number routed to wrong people. Some times, it just gave an error message. Anyone else had this problem?
I contacted Acanac tech support by email. Their responses was fast initially, replied within a day, but has slowed down, replied after several days and did not really address the problem much, which is making me worried. They initially said there is some routing problem to my phone number, and proposed to change my phone number. Of course, I prefer to keep the same number and asked if they can fix the problem with the existing number. Apparently, they cannot fix the problem with the existing number. After several days of waiting without response from them, I asked them for the status of the problem and asked for more details about the cause of the problem. They proposed again to change my number, and did not give me details on the cause of the problem. I gave in and agreed to change the number. I am still waiting for their reply. Maybe I can be more patient, but having a not working phone number is quite troublesome.
So I am currently a little disappointed with Acanac voip for the following reasons:
- reliability problem with Acanac voip -- phone may stop working
- cannot provide a good fix for the problem -- cannot fix the current number, has to change the number
- slow response/fix for a critical problem -- a non-functioning phone number is quite troublesome

Before this, I was quite happy with Acanac voip and was recommending it to other people. Currently, I'm also using Acanac DSL and I'm happy with it. So I really hope Acanac can fix the problem quickly.
