On line back up not accessable for Norton 360

I have tried several times to set up the on line backup feature to no avail. I contacted customer service several times and they couldn't do anything. If fact one CS agent simply set up the back up on my own hard drive. A total waste of time. I sent an email to CS and was told to completely remove the program and all of its left over parts which I did and still no luck. That was a couple of months ago and they still haven't gotten back to me after I emailed them that their advice had failed. Any ideas on how to get that function to work, or should I just say the hell with Norton and go with some one else like avast or AVG? It really bugs me when they give up and don't even acknowledge the problem. That's a great way to drive a way a customer.

Try installing the 2.0 version that is found at Norton 360 installation and if you still have problems setting up the online backup, please let us know.

I installed version 2 and now have access to the on line backup. It would seem to me that a problem existed with the first version. While I am happy that it now works, I have to wonder if I would have ever found out about the fix had I not posted to this site as repeated emails and requests to tech support failed to produce results. It would also seem that someone in Norton knew of the problem but didn't tell people about it. I have lost 4 months of backup time due to this problem but customer service at Norton doesn't seem to care. Perhaps if they read this they will realize that without their customers they have no business and will strive to be more customer friendly in the future.

I do appreciate your help however.

I'm glad that switching to version 2 helped. I've passed your issues and comments to our customer and product support managers.
