Although there <i>may</i> be some less expensive "generic" fans that would fit, the safe bet is to order directly from your notebook manufacturer.<br><br>It is true that sometimes you can get third-party parts, and as long as they work, that is great, but if you go that route, do be careful!<br><br>Frankly, even at inflated manufacturer's prices, the fan should not cost very much, so might as well get the exact fit, right?<br><small>--<br>...something is happening here but you don't know what it is...do you, Mr. Jones?</small>]]></description>

It seems to be working "fine" - but it's very obnoxious.<br><br>Where can I find out (and buy) the fan model that will fit in there so that I can replace it?
