Good stateside QSL card printer

Can anyone recommend a good stateside QSL card printer? I'm looking for decent full color cards (2-sided)....

Moved and unfortunately the printer I used before has been out of business for awhile...

Star QSL cards are excellent and reasonably priced. I have used them for years.

I was pretty unimpressed with what I got from W4MPY ... I wasn't expecting high quality, but you could almost do better with a Sharpie and some index cards.

I put that order in the bottom drawer ($34.95) and went with »www.qslworks.com

Really nice cards that I'm not embarrassed to send out anywhere. To each his own.

Well, I did an order with QSLworks. Seem to be reasonably priced for color cards. Already have proofs and modifications from them. They are quick as far as that is concerned...

I'll see how long it takes from that point to receipt... Thanks for the recos...

BEST EVER... Don't let the name fool you. They work with you on each order via e-mail and will send you proofs via e-mail before printing. Also, very fast, high quality and cheap.

Have you considered building a template in Word or a graphics program and running the QSL’s off an inkjet or laser printer using a postcard stock such as Avery offers?

Yea the cost will be higher than a stock printed QSL but if done properly they should look much more personal as the recipients name call sign etc. will be printed as part of the card not added later. The system is also flexible you can modify or update your cards at will and should there be a legal change in your license or address you are not tossing a box of preprinted cards in the can or even more tackily sticking pre-printed labels over the incorrect information. It also allows you to create a database of cards sent and to whom.

I did look at that option as I have a color laser printer but I could not find stock that was sized like the QSL cards. I'd hate to be the one sending the odd sized QSL card and have it stick out from an otherwise neat pile or file of them....But that's just me...

I did one card in that fashion and trimmed it down to regular size with a large paper cutter.

It would be nice to see a paper manufacturer sell that size blank card stock...Maybe there is one, I just haven't found it...

Didn't want to be the oddball QSLer with the odd sized card compared to the others. I've done the 4x6 and trimmed them to the "normal" size before.

Just my preference is all...

Well, that and if you request a card and enclose an envelope within an envelope, a 4X6 won't fit.

I haven't tried them yet myself, but it sure is tempting! I would order them in a heartbeat if I had a color laser printer.

Agreed !

I have dealt with www.cheapqsls.com and they did a nice job for a basic multi-color QSL card.

I didn't ask for an actual Photograph or High Gloss card stock, but they did a great job.

A nice bonus that helped me out was where they send you a sample of your card via e-mail before they print them, they had mis-spelled my name and I was able to respond and get it fixed before they printed a scrap run.

Ask them to send you some samples via E-mail, or stop back and bother me and I'll send you one of mine.
