I put the server online just now.

The address is gaming.teksavvy.com or 206.248.144.66

I'll leave it open to the public for now until I close it off for the tournament.

We should have a game of FEAR, since you can download the MP version for FREE. Then everybody on TSI could play!

Is this the same box (in Chatham) as the previous TF2 rig, or is this a new one (possibly in Toronto)?

I ask not to further the TSI reality show, but because of the latency differences between Chatham and Toronto

Whats this online MP business? I say we grab some paintball guns, the TSI team and drag them in with some posters of some beavers taped to the walls, when the beaver shooting contest is over, the best with the paint gets free throttled internet for life!

ha, Rocky just sent out an email to every customer about the gaming event. I'm not much into that but good luck to everyone else.

p.s. Rocky, you're using Outlook Express?? I'll let that one slide for now but next time..

Oh man, he uses OE? Does that mean we can pull a gaben and steal the source code to TekSavvy's automated beaver launcher?

This is great. No wonder I love TS so much.

So I'd like to donate something to a runner up in this competition. It's not much, but I have an extra credit in steam for Half Life 2 and Episode 1 that I can gift to someone. I'll donate these to whomever comes in 2nd place.... or 3rd or whatever if others care to donate to the competition and show support for teksavvy.

For last place, I have a garbage can full of drywall left over from remodeling my bathroom. I have a feeling that I'll be the lucky winner of that one though.

I'll be there, but I haven't had much time to invest in online FPSs since TF1 so I hope the format is forgiving (ie. I can play more than one match even though I suck).

Most (but not all) people who bought TF2 got it through the orange box, and as such, already have HL2 and Ep1 :P
