Snypes : If you do not have an active phone line we can look up the location via the address. We can estimate a basic idea of speed but honestly there is no real way to know how well a line will act until it is provisioned. Any technician in our office can run the prequalification for you. You can also submit the request to support@sonic.net and you should receive an answer within a business day.

xan_user : I've been thinking of moving to wikiup, lark field area from Windsor. It looks like wikiup is in the worst possible location for dsl, equally far from SR co and windsor co.
I need a static IP with fairly high up speeds for work, but i'm concerned that it won't be available from Sonic there. What's the best way to determine the availability of Sonic in a given location? A street address, or the old phone number? Or Ouija board? Will Sonic CS be able to semi accurately estimate speeds?

Also if anyone here has any "gasp " alternative for Sonic in that area I will entertain that as a last resort...

Many thanks,
Xan.
