Fios Freebies???? (Pittsburgh area)

HI
I just got off of the phone with Verizon. I ordered the fios tv for my home and the install date is the end of April. (already have the fios phone and internet service)
I was looking at posts on here about getting a free tv and or other items.
Could I be entitled to any freebies??? As I said I ordered over the phone and there was no mention of any freebies.
I live in the Pittsburgh Pa area.
If I am entitled to any freebies that would be great. If not,,, it's still goodbye Comcast and hello better picture!!!

I bet if you called them up and said that Comcast was giving you a better deal to stay....which they will BTW and also offering you the 100 Gift check...they will do something for you.

Now that my memory has been jarred I remember reading a article in a Pittsburgh newspaper about 2 months ago that Comcast is cutting the price on service when people call to tell them they are switching to Verizon or Satellite.
Again I can't say for sure but the price drop was 50% or more if you agreed to a 1 or 2 year commitment.
Here is the link to the article »www.post-gazette.com/pg/07348/841529-237.stm

I'll wait a week or two and call comcast AGAIN to complain about on going problems and see what they say when I tell them I am going to switch to Verizon
I don't like paying high prices but if the quality if good and service is good then the price is justified!
