Re: would still love to have it! Just got an offer from Verizon to for their phone service at one of those 12-month discounted rates. In the offer it stated, in small print, that the discount offered wouldn't take effect until approx the third month after signing up because of their processing cycles.
It seems to me that if I'm signing up as a new customer, and my information is being entered into their system, what's the difficulty of establishing the correct monthly rate right from the start?
