No outrage, Bell says - Phone Monday show your displeasure

No outrage, Bell says

Bell spokesman Jason Laszlo on Friday reiterated the company's position —that it was shaping traffic in order to prevent a small portion of bandwidth hogs from slowing speeds down for all customers.

He said there has been no backlash from customers, despite the incidents of the past week.
BS bell just ignors the outrage!!!!

In response to the article SBrook put up.....

I suggest we all phone in Monday and show them that we have had it with the throttling, increase in prices and poor service!!!!!!!!!

By the way the article is about a union complaing about Bell its in the sympatico forum.

The reason why people were not calling Bell in their outrage is probably because it gets them no-where. You usually end up talking to their frontline crew and they read that information that was released on a Blog about them holding up to their network policies. Other than that, you would probably get their center in India and they have no idea what is happening.

Is there any rules against releasing numbers for the head office and complaining to them? Tie up their phones so they cant get business done?

Release all the numbers you want I can't see an issue with it.

Maybe we should all call the office of that twit who signed the letter.

Yes phone all at the number on bells official response to rocky at a specific time of day and do it for about 1 hour

ask to speak to John Sweeney and Just say I am outraged. hang up wait 1-5 min then again. If u get a voice mail leave the same message "I am outraged; I am outraged; I am outraged ...." until the machine cuts. that voice mail will be full pretty soon.

Bell Executive Office of Customer Relations 1-866-317-3382. I also like qweloo's suggestion and we can email Mr. Sweeney john.sweeney@bell.ca since he was kind enough to provide his contact information.

we can also each send an email to john.sweeney@bell.ca ?

" Just say I am outraged by your throttling of 3rd party ISP and this is a backlash if you didnt notice yet. "

a couple of thousands email all from a different source.
that should fill the mailbox

phone and email since they dont seem to understand there is a backlash in their ivory towers on Bay Street.

dont get me wrong, letting bell know about the disgust is great,
but i would suggest every single one of you write the minister of industry, comp. bureau, you mp and mpp before making a single phone call to john, as those prev. mentioned steps will (potentially) have a bigger impact.

I also suggest continuing to pressure media to keep this in the lime light (i spoke with the CBC today).

Throwing it out there, we are technically not bell customers though. Does anyone agree with this? I'm not offering a better way but im just pointing out that this would be simelar to one of us calling rogers about the same thing, no?

On the other hand, if we were Bell Sympatico customers, it would be a different story. I still think that If we were applying more pressure to MPs it would get us farther. Or, if you are a bell phone line, expressvu subscriber, quit the service and then tell them why.

I'm just trying to play devils advocate here. If i were bell, and a non customer was complaining, what could I really do about it?

Just a thought. Looking forward to reading through even more of this thread as it develops. In the mean time, ill be downloading torrents at 30k....

The whole idea is to let them know that there is indeed unhappy people out here, being affected by what they are doing, in some cases prevented from something as serious as getting work done....P2P is not all they are blocking at the moment

On my Bell phone bill, the following are listed under Telephone Services, even though I use TSI. As far as I am concern, I am a customer 'cause the phone bill never lies. :P

___ Monthly Charges _____
1 Residence line 18.48
1 High Speed DSL 0.00
...
etc

I AM a Bell customer.

With some luck I will be fixing that soon though.

Here that BELL!! I consider being a customer to be no real perk. No advantage, nothing to be happy about.

Bell technology is rapidly becoming yet another oxymoron.
