| Dial up Access when Traveling
I have DSL but I am going to visit my Aunt in Tyler without internet. I can use my account login information with a dial up number to get online correct? Also is there a limit? I know I can't be online 24/7 like with DSL but are there other limitations? I haven't used dial up in years so this should be fun. |

| reply to tbone2006 AT&T doesn't limit the length of time you are connected to dial up (except if you have an AT&T-Southeast account which may still have monthly time limits). I just used dial up while traveling this past week for quite a few connection hours and you have to use long connection times to compensate for lack of speed.
Try to run a pre-trip, dial up trial run if possible to work out any bugs in your connection process. I had old, disconnected AT&T phone numbers in my dialer that I found on my pre-trip check out. |
