No problem with BitTorrent here, nor am I forcing any encryption. Try a well-seeded Linux distribution as a sanity check (Fedora or Ubuntu are good tests).

x2. OP, what are you talking about blocked ports? The only ones I'm aware of are a couple NetBIOS ports, SOCKS and SMB (aside from 25 when you get flagged for spam).

I was referring to ports 80/25 specifically. Doesn't Comcast block those like other cable providers?

I've used port 80 before, so it's definitely not blocked (at least in this area, I don't know if that varies by market). I'm not sure about 8080, though. Port 25 (once again, at least here) isn't blocked unless you're flagged for spam.
