| Re: Peaceful picket ? The only point in doing pickets against an organization as insensitive to public opinion and logical arguments as Bell is to draw media attention to your cause. For this purpose anything under 50 people just looks pathetic. What's needed is either very large numbers (100+) or a novelty (like coordinated pickets in multiple cities) to make a strong impression.
If we could get >100 people to legally picket Bell offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec city at the same time, then it's worth doing. Anything short of that would be a waste of time and could even be counterproductive.
The only way I could see something like this happening is if some already existing group, like TSI or the NUPGE, got behind the idea.
