| Chromatic aberration
Just a general query, if you look on the abdomen of this spider, you will see some strange colouration, is this because i was shooting towards the sun ?, something like chromatic aberration ? ...

1 edit | reply to Action_Man I wonder if some the hairs themselves could have acted as a prism if they were translucent?
I've seen some pretty intense iridescent colors from bugs before.
That last shot..if look closely, it really looks like the hairs themselves are refracting the light. |

Also, most insect hair is hollow, isn't it? Wouldn't that increase the prismatic effect as well?
