| National Sports Talk Radio
Any thoughts on a sports talk radio shows to listen to..doesn't necessarily need to be national, but needs to have an internet stream...I currently listen to tirico (really better than i expected) but i could use something in the morning, or for the ride home. |

| reply to lowdef Definitely try Mike & Mike - they are pretty entertaining. If you can't has XM, try the local ESPN affiliate radio station. They're on 1250AM here in Pittsburgh.
I also like Tirico - his show is an order of magnatude better than the Dan Patrick show, which it replaced.
Again, for the drive home, try a local ESPN affiliate. We have a guy here in Pittsburgh (Mark Madden) that can be a real a-hole to callers, but it makes for some good entertainment on the drive home. -- "I was the bad guy once again. I laughed at their sorrows. Ha ha ha ha ha." |

| reply to lowdef I really dislike Mike and Mike, because it's all self-promotion and glorification of stars and champions. At the same time they're on, Steve Czaban has a show on Fox Sports Network that I find more informative. -- Female monkeys often utter loud, distinctive calls before, during or after sex.. |

| reply to lowdef Outside of Mike & Mike and Doug Gottlieb on the Pulse, I absolutely cant stand ESPN Radio. Mike & the Mad Dog on WFAN are arrogant as hell, but for some reason, I keep tuning into them. WFAN is the best sports radio station in the country (and I think the first as well). The big edge over ESPN is that they have a lot more callers, and their show isnt nearly as canned. Check the station out at wfan.com, and if you get Steve Sommers on the show, I apologize. For some reason, he has quite a following, but I think he caters to the absolute stupidest of the stupid. -- You're so vain... I bet you think this post is about you. |

| I grew up listening to mike and the mad dog...two of the best really...but they talk yanks/mets too much (cant stand either team)...do like the callers though...i stumbled into listening to cowherd the other day, and he wasn't nearly as bad as i've seen people make him out to be. |
