Naked Dsl Installation

Hi, Is naked dsl installation free?

I'm wondering because I know that this installation will be complex where I live. (videotron phone took 7 hours with two technicians)

Old Appartment block, trouble in old wiring, current wiring used by videotron phone(wish I keep).

CS told me they can install, i don't doubt i'm just pretty sure it will be long and painfull and wouldn't want fees for that.

@videotron.ca		 Also, i'm about 3km from my CO, when it says loop, does it means 3km X2 which would affect the speed?

 Thank you for your interest in our service. Installation is free, but only to the dmarc, but it does cost an extra $8 per month for dry loop service. If your dmarc is inside your suite you should not encounter any problems. Also is your Videotron phone service still using Bell's physical lines?

i'm pretty sure the dmarc (dunno what that is) is in the basement in the electric room (that's where videotron disconnected bell line). Videotron use the appartment wiring, the modem is connect into a rj11 of the appartment and each plug of the appartment works on videotron.

So i would have to run a wire from the basement thru the appartment? (which is surely impossible (brick and concrete wall, pretty far) and which they surely won't allow).

I wonder if it could be on the same wire that my door bell which use a phone and phone line.

Does somebody comes home after to set up modem? like to put a plug that use the door bell wire to not interfere with my videotron line.

Also how come other service provider can offer me dsl via dry dsl but not you?
