OK, some of the freebie shows are 5.1. The music, such as in the Music Choice HD folder is not. I went through the PPV movies, and while they have HD and CC (closed captioned) I didn't see one marked dolby 5.1. Sooooo...who wants to be the guinea pig and buy a movie and let us know if it is 5.1.  |

I love their references to "Next Year", because they can say next year in December, then still say next year in January.
They never actually tell you what "Next Year" that they are actually referring to.

Hope NY gets the HD upgrade tonight though, some consistency between their separate VHO's would be a nice thing to see happen.
Verizon must really hate forums like this, because it makes it impossible to secretly roll out a new feature to 1 particular market without every other market knowing about it.
If they fired up 150 new HD channels tonight in New England, they would have tens of thousands of customers from their other markets on the phone first thing tomorrow morning asking why they don't have those same channels....
Goes back to an earlier argument about some markets having 20/20 and others having 15/15 Internet speeds for the same price...

NY has another Hour and Ten Minutes, and Oregon another 4 Hours and 10 Minutes to wait and see what happens today.
It appears that they gradually rolled out the Philadelphia market over the course of 5-6 hours, CO by CO.
If you don't have the upgrade by tomorrow morning, then we can all yell APRIL FOOLS at you....

Crap, there are HD movies here in northern VA.
I pressed the ok button when it lagged and wound up watching 310 to Yuma. At least it was a good movie.
