Man, windy as !@#$ here in Downtown GTA... It crippled my backup dsl line... syncing from between 1200-1600kbit from a steady 4032/800 before., losing sync every few minutes... Aerial wires here between the poles look messed up. Voice service is fine still, so I cant complain.

Weee! Negative SNR! I don't think I've ever seen that before. Of course that's just before it loses sync. It puked a second or two later.

I took a quick snap of the wires as I was leaving... Looks the supporting cable snapped and unwound itself, leaving the wires stretched and possibly shorting out at the terminal block.

Possibly. I saw a gust of wind rip the advertising off the side of a bus on the way home.

It's annoyingly windy in Montreal too. I live on the 6th floor of a 19-story concrete apartment building, but this is going to keep me up tonight...

I went out around 1 PM and it was still okay, but once I returned, around 4 PM, it was blowing a gale and was once again freezing cold. When will it finally get above 10 in this forsaken place?
