With regards to open devices, I don't follow. Ever since AT&T went to GSM you could pretty much use any GSM phone that you could get your hands on with them, provided it supported US GSM bands.
I suppose you can also do the same thing with T-Mobile, provided the phone is not magenta. -- This isn't fair! I was only supposed to hate just ONE presidential candidate!
