How do you bring up the FPS to see what you are getting in game?
Open the console with the ~ key and type r_displayinfo=1 then press ENTER.

It's DX10 and Vista that kills the frame rates in Crysis.

That's all you hear about that game, "I have XX super computer and it runs Crysis like poop!"

I ran it with a 7950GT DX9 on XP and it ran great on High settings. Only the huge battle on the carrier did it slow down.
