So what happens when you bust the soft cap with this speed? I mean damn if you use BT and comcast does unblock it your going to hit that soft cap fast.

That's what I was thinking too.

I seem to remember that Comcast supposedly has a 300GB cap, but it's really different for different markets, so it's not even consistent.

At 50Mbps, you could go through that quickly.

50Mbps = 6.25 MByte/sec

300GB / 6.25 MByte/sec = 13 hours, 39 minutes, 12 seconds.

For a 100GB upload cap and 5Mbps upload speed, it's:

45 hours, 30 minutes, and 40 seconds.



Either way, it's easy to go through that fast. With BT, you really should restrict the upload, to keep some upload for yourself.

Even so, it's still easy to go through that very quickly.
