However I've tried 5 different locations now, and all were a bust. At each I found 2 SSIDs, of equal strength, one labeled ATTWIFI and the other the name of the place. (McDonalds, etc) Connecting to the store name SSID pulls up a credit card payment page, connecting to the AT&T SSID pulls a private IP - and obviously nothing more there.
It's been awhile since I've used the at&t wifi.
Did the McDonalds page look like this one?
