anon : Hi Island Jeff,

Just thought I'd reply to let you know, this problem was actualy down to my ISP... After trying everything they knew, and getting many different people on the case, all it took was giving me a new IP, now I'm connecting to my server with no problems.

It isn't exactly as fast as I would have expected, though, its a hell of a lot better now.

However, to answer your question, I don't think it is a satellite uplink that is used. I have an antenna on my roof, that has a line of sight to a mast about 150 meters away. That all I know in relation to that... The connection is considered "Fixed Wireless".

Thank for your reply,
MrPixel.
