For small holes like that look for a hole patch kit at your hardware store. The kit should have a fine nylon mesh screen [to go over the hole] and some "mud". You'd dab a little mud around the hole edges to "glue" the screen in place. Then you'd cover the mesh with mud, then let it dry for a day or two. The just sand away until it is flat and smooth, and the height of the wall.
For the smaller hole just dab mud in it and level it to the wall.
