It cuts you off after so many minutes/hours. The easiest way to get back on is to reboot, reconnect, and login again.

Windows will autoconfigure an IP for an adapter when it can't get an IP address for some reason. The only thing it's good for is local communication within your PC.

If so, that's pretty normal actually. It means they are doing NAT routing at the wireless facility. You should still be able to load a Web page.

If you can't, there's something else going on. Perhaps you have a software firewall that needs configuration?
