Does the range not extend into the basement?<br><br>If the signal is there, just weak I'd recommend a better antenna for the wifi router.  For less than $20 shipped off ebay you can get a 7 or 8dbi omni with rp-sma (ie dlink) or rp-tnc (ie linksys) pigtail that will help a lot.]]></description>
