On my weed wackier I don't have a choke on it. I have to press a primer buld on. Press slow on the bulb about 4 times and try that.

They exchanged it for another and that one started much better.

My trimmer can be a real beast. I even injured my wrist one time trying to start that thing. :-) I know the feeling. Well, I'm thinking once it starts, it runs fine then the spark plug gap should be okay. I guess you could check it, since it's a fairly easy task, that is, if you have a spark plug gap gauge. The manual says 0.020 (0.50mm). Other than that, I don't know what else to recommend. I don't have a pressure washer, but I plan on getting one in the near future. I don't understand why it doesn't have a choke. All my engines have one.

Throttle set to Fast/Run and used the Primer bulb as per instructions. Fuel is new and I don't see any trash in the can. Haven't had any problems with the same fuel in 2 other mowers.
