Re: Hard starting power washer Are you priming it and using the choke? |

seqretsPremium join:2001-05-03 Nederland, TX | Oh I want to Choke it believe me but, it doesn't have one. Throttle set to Fast/Run and used the Primer bulb as per instructions. Fuel is new and I don't see any trash in the can. Haven't had any problems with the same fuel in 2 other mowers.
If the gap in the spark plug out of spec would that effect it? Once it starts it runs fine. |

Once it starts it runs fine. I know the feeling. Well, I'm thinking once it starts, it runs fine then the spark plug gap should be okay. I guess you could check it, since it's a fairly easy task, that is, if you have a spark plug gap gauge. The manual says 0.020 (0.50mm). Other than that, I don't know what else to recommend. I don't have a pressure washer, but I plan on getting one in the near future. I don't understand why it doesn't have a choke. All my engines have one. -- Blog | - - - | Hunt's Treasure |
