adsl to vpn router connectivity

I have an ADSL router at home (in uk) and one at my office (in Dubai). I want to set up a vpn connection between the two sites. i have two netgear fvs318 vpn routers.i have found out how to configure the routers for VPN connects, but what i need to know is how do i configure or what i configure on the ADSL routhers to allow the VPNs at either end talk to each other????

thanks

That depends on the modems... if they are merely just modems. Many modems also have routers (NAT) within them. If they are just modern modems you should have to do nothing. If they also have routers within them, you could choose to put them in 'bridge mode' and permit all traffic to go to your Netgear before any actions are taken. This is what most would recommend if there is a router in the modem.
