I'm also noticing more sites are working, but some are slow to load. Overall it's a lot better now.
Back down again. Back to using the proxy server to get to this site.

No connection here in Upper Merion (Montgomery county near Chester and Delaware counties).
I am leeching off a neighbors Verizon connection (unsecured wireless).

It is good to know it is a Comcast problem so I dont spend hours troubleshooting my home network.

Still an issue here in Montgomery County, PA. A few more sites are loading then before (this site didn't load earlier this morning, does now) but there are still plenty of sites that still won't load. It's Comcastic!

Experiencing trouble "The connection has timed out" in Delaware. Many Media and government websites return no access time outs. Downloads are slow. Tech support is not responding.

Great! so its a problem all around. I spent several hours trying to torubleshoot. handful of sites load. rest just timeout. VOIP phone service (att callvantage) is down as well bcos of this. I am in Delaware county PA 19342. Hope it is fixed soon. Wont bother calling in to comcast.

I love how they still try to blame the consumer. I was actually able to get into the live chat on comcast.com an hour or so ago and initially he said they were doing server maintenance and then said my modem needed to be rebooted. Its downright comical that this happens once a year about this time and this day in age act like they do when it occurs

@verizon.net

it never changes!!! reboot, reboot, reboot!!! a waste of time, i am wondering if indeed they have any idea of what went wrong...its mind boggling that a company this size continues to remain clueless, when these outages happen...my verizon dsl earning its back-up keep!!! cannot wait for FIOS this summer or fall and goodbye to comcast...

Yeah, just as I thought, it's back to crap again. Oh well, it looks like they're making some progress at least.

It's looking to be getting better if not completely resolved here in South Jersey, at least for me. How's it looking to everyone else? Maybe it's just an anomaly and it'll go back to crap.

It got worse for awhile here in northern Montco: I lost connection to some of the sites I had access to from the beginning, including this one. I can access those original sites again now, but still not the rest I've been trying to access all morning, including remote servers for work.

I was up and running for all of 10 minutes around 12:35p in 07036. I can reach about 10% of the sites I visit and now using my work connection to get in. I can't wait to get rid of ComCrap.

Clearly everyone in here that can't connect to the internet is having issues with either their router or computer. duh.

Same connection problems here in Delaware County, PA 19061.

Called Comcast and they have now an automated message up that they are having widespread connection issues and the option to get a call back once the issues have been resolved.

Not a good situation... hopefully it something they will be able to isolate quickly.

posting this from my iPhone...

Been down in montco all morning. More sites are seeming to load that weren't before but still having major issues. I dont think this is a level3 backbone issue at all. They are obviously blocking HTTP traffic for some reason. This is getting ridiculious.

Talked to a tech and he said a trunk line (i guess this is a big hub) went down at AT&T. I said wth does AT&T have to do with Comcast? I got silence for few seconds before I was told they are working on bringing it back online.
