Anyuser2 : If you're having issues in other states, like MI or TN, then you've (probably) got something else going on - this issue seems to be/have been geographically centralized... AFAIK, nothing's even been happening on this side of PA (a wholly seperate region from the east). After talking to a few people who work for them in this area, they haven't talked to a single person who's experienced any similar issue (this is the western half of PA, bits of northern WV and some of eastern OH... with a dab of MD in there, I believe). But, hey, I could be wrong.

I had thought I had an issue on my end with my splitters until my cousin who lives about 20 miles away mentioned she has been having problems all week as well. Comcast broke something and as always is playing the defensive game instead of actually listening to the customers. The minute that FiOS is available in my area I’m dumping Comcast. I had Suburban Cable before Comcast bought them out and only had interruptions with major storms. I can’t rely on the service anymore.
While I was calling in last week to inform them of my issue they tried to sell me on VOIP and I immediately told them how can I rely on my phone service being available 24x7 if my internet service isn’t?
