I'd rather have the occasional blocky pixelization artifacts than to have to hear that static hissing "SHHHHHHHHH" sound and have static all over the screen. ;)

I took one look at the picture (I did a lot of web page stuff so I knew about compression artifacts) and said I'd rather have the analog back. The tech tried to tell me this was a superior picture so I showed him what happens to pictures when you digitize them.
