T1 or 2 DSL or Cable? Help

We have 15 user and had 6MB DSL which was rock solid for years because we were very close to the Phone CO. The company moved to a new location and now the max. we can get on DSL is 3MB, which is not sufficient for what we do.

What would be be the best solution here for more bandwidth?
1- Add a second 3MB DSL and load balance
2- Remove the DSL completely and change to cable at 8MB/1MB
3-Add cable to the existing DSL and load balance
4- Go with Full T-1 and forget 1,2 & 3

Cable provider in this area is Charter, Phone CO is former Bellsouth area now ATT

Budget: I could probably go up to 500 a month but that would be pushing it.
(Our former 6MB was 80 a month)

Opinions? Any one else that has been through this?

T1 might be a little slow. If 3Mbps isn't doing it for you, then the 1.5Mbps of a T1 probably wont.

I think I've decided on an additional DSL and try load balancing. Not sure how well that will work, but we are going to give it shot. I'm not real trusting of cable with their speeds they advertise.

I would "no brainer" go with the cable.

(a) more bendwidth as required.
(b) redundancy within network, (if your DSL provider craps out, you still have connectivity and cable provides full throughput needs it seems)
(c) Cable speeds are accurate (at least where I live - it depends on how many people are sharing a node and how responsive the Company is to ensure overloaded areas get an additional node - best to check with local businesses or homes using cable)

I agree - I'd load balance the 3 Mb DSL with a 8Mb/1Mb cable line for the redundancy purposes as well as speed.
