Are you running the as-yet-unreleased SP3 update to XP?

Crap, I am. But remote desktop was working up until today.

Crap, crap crap. I bet that is it and I am probably hosed until the final release, huh?

Re: [XP Pro] Remote desktop connection (software) has expired.

Well, my guess is that since you're running SP3 you won't be able to reinstall it so your only chance is to repair it.

Is it too late to try a System Restore back to when it was working?

System restore fixed nothing.

Guess I have to wait until the actual release to see if that fixes it.
