So you don't care if Cablevision skips BBC America yet again, as that is one of the channels that is perhaps the most frequently requested channel that we don't have? There are plenty of other SD and HD channels that we do not have, and most of the SD channels have HD counterparts. Would be nice if they could add the SD and HD channels at the same time... like Sleuth SD and Sleuth HD. Chiller SD, Chiller HD, FOX Business SD and FOX Business HD, etc. I believe BBC America is going HD as well, so BBC America SD and BBC America HD would be nice to get. Not to mention CNBC World, Big Ten Network, ESPN-U. | |

I too want BBC America but do not have HD so need it in SD (or I can just swap my 8300 for an 8300HD and continue to use my SD TV since the 8300HD will play the HD shows to a SD TV). The only downside to the 8300->8300HD swap is I need to view or lose the shows I have archived on the DVR which I have not viewed yet. | |
