Re: Comodo Firewall Free No More?? Hmmm. I used to use Comodo in the past and had to program in high regard because it was free, LOL! Anyway I ended my relationship with software FWs after the famous thread "El Cheapo router challenge" where it was proven that Windows FW was as good as a paid one in terms of inbound protection. Anyway if someone has to worry about outbound protection, who cares the machine is already KAPUT!
To cut the rambling short:
I remember Melih saying: This FW would be free forever!
Today that only applies to those how download it from Comodo's site.
Tomorrow, maybe for those who are capable of solving the velocity of one cubic meter of air in a 10 ft column of water; water and air temp are both 80 degrees F; water is non saline and clean; and the form of the bubble is a sphere.
If we look further into the future then it would be Comodo FW = $
Best thing to do is stop using it and believing in snake oil, install a quality router and reactivate Windows FW.
