I'm not sure what bothers me more..

that comcast had an outage of this magnitude...

or that one of their execs was squandering his time monitoring "twitter" under the guise of looking for details!

I think that personnel needs to track this guy down, seize his pc..and see what else he's up to while on company time.

Surely you don't want a Comcast exec running router diagnostics?

He was trying to keep your company from having too bad a reputation. Too bad it didn't work.

Maybe you should be fired for posting your rantings. Doesn't matter if you are on company time or not, you still make the company look bad.

lol. So, based on your theory..when I was happy with adelphia as my isp..i worked for them too?
Or..how about all the years i had RR. Employed there as well?

Well golly geesh. Maybe they should change my isp reviews to
"Ricks resume" instead.

Anyways..I hope your career with verizon online dsl is going well for you.

Keep grasping for straws shill boy.

I do not work for Verizon. You , however, have made it clear you work for Comcast and your obvious bias (ex. "It worked for me so you must be the problem.") So anything you say is taken with less than a grain of salt because of the source.

You should know better that bloggers have become a viable alternative to mainstream media. Even the big 4 (Fox, NBC, CBS, and ABC) use them from time to time for ideas. Drudge has been cited numerous times.

Comcast would be well served to read these boards and other bloggers in order to gauge how well their actions and reactions fare with the knowledgeable public. Why? Because word of mouth is way better than any paid advertising.

Better learn to treat your customers with respect before you have none left.

lol. I think you've been sipping a few too many happy hour cocktails today.

Your theory is...I'm happy with my isp so I must work for them.
I guess that means I was on layoff when I posted this thread?

»Waterbury Ct. Prime Time Speed Problems.......

Anyways..cheers.
Let me buy you another round.

Sorry, no alcoholic found here but you sure seem to be sipping the Comcast Kool-Aid a lot lately.

Case in point:

Evidence? I don't need any evidence. I have the service and it works great.
I'm sorry if your experience has been less than satisfactory..but mine hasn't.

I have yet to see a HD picture that looks anything close to what has been presented in these "news" stories.
My HD pictures look great. Awesome in fact.
And so too is my 30,000k HSI speeds.

Sorry if that seems to trouble you. But that's how comcast performs for me.
»Hmm...

Better start listening to your customers before they tell you to shut up.
