Did you check with Groton Utilities? They are the only company to go up against the crap of only one cable company to an area. They have all new equipment and everyone I talk seem happy with their service. I wish they would expand there service area.

Monday evening TVC (Thames Valley Communications aka Groton Utilities) will be installing cable internet for me (5MB for 29.95 vs 3MB for 30.00 with ATT after the latest hike.)Free install despite what the rate card says .I'll try to remember to check back into this thread and let you know what I think after I get to use it a bit.

Thankz for all Info.

I might leave AT&T & go for GU. Cause AT&T seems like they are not goin to upgrade speed in groton for long now... they told me they are paying more attention towards their NEW UVERSE... which I think wont reach us till 2020.
