I would think that in any neighborhood the utilities should be hiding the equipment in the backyards. You shouldn't be dropping large equipment in people's front yards. In my neighborhood everything is in the back of people's yards. No one complains. The telcos are stupid in this case. Even if they didn't have easement access in the back, there is no point in not asking a homeowner to give them an easement to prevent having a huge box in their front yard. Most would easily agree to the deal. |
