new york taxes and fees question

I just signed up for a family plan ($69.99 -20%) and I got some hefty taxes and fees (shown below). I want to know if they look right to you guys? I come from tmobile and I don't think I paid this much.

Secondly, They charged me for 1 month and 1 day. I don't know why on god's earth they would have such a system, instead of just starting my billing cycle when I signed up. But anyhow, did that have any impact on my high taxes?

Overall I just want to get a good idea of how much I will be paying per month.

Also, do they tax you on activation fee. because I was charged $70 for activating two lines. However, I was only supposed to get charged $60. I called them up and they credited me $10.

But looking at the bill, it seems that they tax activation fee, so I should of been credit more than $10.
