AT&T doesn't resell it yet as far as I know. If they did I think half this forum would dump their voice lines.

I know I'd be a happy VoIP + DSL-Extreme customer if AT&T allowed for dry loop with DSL-Ex. I'm still a happy customer now, but wished for dryloop to avoid AT&T taxes/fees and high priced POTS line.

I got lucky the voice line is in the my room mates name who's unemployed so he qualifies for the life line plus or whatever its called. Its like low income pricing for phone service for those who can't afford it. We pay something like $6 a month, no LD nothing but a dial tone right now. No phone even connected to the line just our DSL modem.
