Replicate the error, and call tech support. When you finally get a person on the line, have them verify your connection from outside. If they can see you, but you can't see them, it's the router. Because you're on a TV package, they'll replace it.

Your STB may have stopped working and you don't know it. You can test by trying to view guide data past 1 week schedule, or start a VOD program. If you get VOD, your STB is connected. It sounds like it is a router malfunction. Although some have said the power brick can be problematic..

I'd call it in to get a replacement shipped.

Look at the router's system log. Log in, click on System Monitoring icon, choose Advanced Status menu item, answer Yes to nag, click on System Logging.

Look for problems indicating connection failure. I've got the Actiontec MI-424WR with the latest firmware, and I really don't like it. :-( Every time I try and either download or upload using an HTTP connection at a sustained high rate, the router just crashes and all DNS stops working - I'll keep existing connections to whatever I've got open, I can make connections to IP addresses, but can't connect to any other site. This usually happens when I download/upload at more than 1.5MB/s for more than five seconds. The strange thing is that I don't get this problem when downloading from Usenet with eight connections - I can rumble on at 2.5MB/s for hours without a hiccup. But as soon as I try to do something on the web, the router goes and the only way to fix it is a warm reboot.
