Re: Using Exchange with MS Office?

Well it's using Web Access 2007. Is there a way to test to see if it has the SSL? It says on one of there help pages:

If you are trying to access Outlook from home after following the instructions on the Online Assistance webpage, but are unable to, it is probably because your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is blocking port 135 to provide better security for you.. A port is a connection point that computers use to talk to each other over a network. Certain programs use different ports. The Microsoft Exchange server that is used on campus uses port 135, so if your ISP is blocking this port you will be unable to access the Exchange server. This was done by many internet service providers on the recommendation from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. You can however still access your e-mail from off campus. You can use Outlook Web Access. The directions on how to use Outlook Web Access can be found on this Online Assistance page.
