| Re: Perversity in the Northern Burbs? And here I thought this thread was going to be about the Richmond school principal arrested with two teenage girls in Milwaukee...
This story caught my eye earlier, and I don't even want to think about it. -- If everything seems to be going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

| Re: Perversity in the Northern Burbs? I saw that one too - is Richmond up there? I thought it was downstate.
And anyhow, well, Milwaukee - I mean that's where I would go with a couple of teenage girls if I was a creepy high school principal. After all, they are Packer fans - pretty much says it all.
But staid Crystal Lake? -- Illegitimati non carborundum

1 edit | Richmond, Il is on Rte 12, near the WI border, right below Lake Geneva, WI. Not only was Daniel Markofski [the Spring Grove principal who was arrested with 2 girls in Milwaukee] living here, but apparently Richmond is a PEDOPHILE haven, as we have had: former village legal counsel John Roth, convicted of child porn; former chiropractor Scott Mor, convicted of molesting a 7yo in his homeland of Israel; and former village planning commission member Matthew Resh indicted [still on bail and LIVING near 2 churches & the elementary school] in Richmond] on *5* counts of child predatory sexual assault! Ironically, the house where Daniel Markofski was renting a room is NEXT TO where Resh resides. Two on one block! Crap!

| Re: Perversity in the Northern Burbs? I figured it was some sort of B & D thing and there happened to be a fire in the house.
Obviously the cops figured that the truth was told, otherwise there would have been an arrest for unlawful restraint or kidnapping or something. But if they believed that the guy was telling the truth - that he was there "voluntarily," they would not detain anyone.
It would have been unremarkable - not something to make the Trib or Sun-Times - unless the situation seemed to be fairly, uh, freaky. -- Illegitimati non carborundum

| Re: Perversity in the Northern Burbs? And this is the tape that your neighbor, who lives next to the house in question shot through the basement window before the fire broke out?
Now, exclusively on DSLR!
It isn't any different than the brouhaha in racing circles over the recent tapes of the CEO of Formula 1, the richest sport in the world getting spanked with a riding crop (and later doing some spanking) by a bevy of hookers dressed as Nazis. And he's speaking German too!
And best of all, this guy is named Max Mosley. His Dad was Sir Oswald Mosley, this upper-class politician who was the leader of the UK Nazi party. He was jailed during WWII in Britain, but never really renounced his politics.
The son, Max isn't a Nazi, he just like to dress like one while being dominated by hookers. That's when he isn't running Grand Prix racing.
The tabloids are having a field day! You can find the tapes on various Brit websites. It's hilarious. And damn it, they have the right to do that in Crystal Lake too! -- Illegitimati non carborundum

| Re: Perversity in the Northern Burbs? I dislike him to no end. This is the third thread, I posted in. I think Sir Jackie Stewart said it the best.
"“Mosley is now in an untenable situation,” Stewart said in the paddock in Bahrain during practice for tomorrow’s grand prix. “The FIA involves motor clubs from all around the world, with so many different religions, different cultures and sensitivities. If Mosley had a government position in Britain, the US or Germany, or was chairman of a public company or head of the Olympic committee, he would have already gone. He would not have waited, he would not need to be told, he would know it was the correct thing to do and I am surprised he is still there.”
Stewart went on to criticise Mosley’s decision to ask the FIA to hold a special meeting at which his future will be decided. The cost of this exercise, involving flying 222 members from all over the world to Paris, is thought to be in the region of £1 million. “It is wrong that he is convening a special meeting, bringing so many people to Paris for an FIA gathering,” Stewart said. “That’s like asking your family if you should go.”
If it's such a private matter why is he USING THE FIA as a vehicle to counter the claims.

| Re: Perversity in the Northern Burbs? He's a complete hose-bag as is his buddy Bernie Eccelstone. I don't care who his Dad was, but given the circumstances of his trouble, it appears that irony is not yet dead.
These guys have run F1 like it was their private little fun-club. Time for both of them to go. In most of the world F1 is bigger than NASCAR is here (it's much better too). The money is unfathomable. Without a doubt the richest sport in the world.
When you add to all this they guy who was the GOP candidate for senator in 2002 - I forget his name - who wanted his wife, a blond actress to get frisky with other guys in some club, it makes you wonder about what goes on with these high-powered guys. What are they thinking? I mean, play it cool, be discrete, and you can probably get whatever weird shit you want.
Of you can be a chucklehead about it like Max Mosley or Eliot Spitzer. -- Illegitimati non carborundum
