That just might work for me Warzau. The new vinyl windows have "channels that the window sash(?) is mounted in so I'm thinking I might be able to take a piece of 2x4 lumber the width to the inside of the vinyl frame and notch it with my table saw so that I have a nice flat surface to set the AC onto. If I do that I may be able to anchor this bracket thing you found onto the top of the 2x4 and then also onto the house below the window.

Where did you find this thing? Do you have a link?
